Santander UK - Issuance under EUR 25 billion Global Covered Bond Programme

Slaughter and May advised Santander UK plc (formerly known as Abbey National plc) on the public issuance of EUR1 billion 2.50 per cent. Covered Bonds due 2013 under the Abbey National Treasury Services plc EUR25 billion Global Covered Bond Programme.

The issuance completed on the 18 March 2010.

The lead managers were Banco Santander SA, Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, HSBC France, J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd and Société Générale.
